AIR Equity Initiative Roundtable – Beyond the Pandemic: Four Perspectives on Helping All Students Thrive

The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the need for educational equity so that all students receive what they need to develop to their full academic and social potential. Educators, researchers, advocates, and community members need evidence- and practice-informed discussions that (1) explore the resources and capacities needed to help students succeed beyond the pandemic and (2) generate actionable recommendations to achieve equity in education.

The third in our series of roundtable discussions engaged experts in education research and practice, school leadership, policy, and youth advocacy as they shared perspectives on ways to collectively build stronger bridges to equity.

Participants learned about actionable ideas to inform equitable education practices beyond the pandemic and strategies to influence student success.
