Crystal Hagan

A senior web specialist at AIR, Crystal Hagan has more than 15 years’ experience in electronic and digital documentation production and support. In her current position, she is responsible for programming (HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, Perl, JavaScript, ASP, ASP.NET, and SQL) as well as designing, developing and maintaining interactive websites and web applications for a number of clients, including the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, the Office of Special Education Programs, the Office of Medical Applications of Research, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Cancer Institute, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. To this end, she has received training in Section 508 Web accessibility standards and guidelines for developing Web sites for the Federal Government. Hagan assists in the dissemination of marketing e-mails, using specialized software, and she has designed online courseware, made web sites available in both English and Spanish, and developed a user-friendly search feature to facilitate communication among various partners.
