National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), recognized every October in the U.S., celebrates workers with disabilities and the value of an inclusive workforce that benefits from their skills and talents. One in five people in the American workforce has some form of disability.

AIR’s disability and rehabilitation work aims to support people with disabilities in creating career pathways, pursuing employment opportunities, and gaining economic security. Specifically, AIR conducts research, provides technical assistance, and has expertise in program evaluation, survey methods, interviews and focus groups, disability policy, and knowledge translation.
