Edward Hamburg
Edward Hamburg is an advisory partner with Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and serves on several boards of directors for high technology companies.
Previously, Hamburg was executive vice president of corporate operations and chief financial officer of SPSS Inc., which before its 2009 acquisition by IBM was a global provider of predictive analytics technology and services. Hamburg managed the company’s two public offerings, directed its mergers and acquisitions activities, and was responsible for all aspects of the firm’s business infrastructure, including finance and treasury, corporate marketing, human resources, legal and corporate governance, and information technology. He also was an assistant professor at the University of Illinois, Chicago.
Hamburg received a doctorate in political science at the University of Chicago.
