Diversity at AIR: Employee Resource Groups
Voluntary, employee-led, and open to all staff members, AIR’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) play a prominent role in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace aligned with our mission, values, and goals, as well as executing our diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy.
There are eight ERGs:
- Access AIR (disability-focused)
- AIR AIM (Asians in Motion)
- AIR BLAAC (Black, Latino, African American, African, and Caribbean) Diaspora Network
- AIR CREW (Collaborative Remote Employee Workforce)
- AIR Stars & Stripes (veterans and military-affiliated)
- AIR VIVA (Hispanic, Latino, and Chicano)
- AIR Pride (LGBTQ+)
- AIR WISE (Women in Support of Equity)
ACCESS AIR
Promotes a work environment that is inclusive of people with disabilities, their families, and the communities that AIR serves
AIR AIM (Asians in Motion)
Fosters an environment for greater professional development, recruitment and retention for Asian employees and providing cultural insight and knowledge to AIR and in the community
AIR BLAAC (Black, Latino, African-American, African and Caribbean) Diaspora Network
Promotes an inclusive work environment, fostering professional mobility and engaging in culturally responsible practices
AIR CREW (Collaborative Remote Employee Workforce)
Supports remote employees, offering opportunities for professional and career growth and interacting with AIR leadership to support strategic planning
AIR PRIDE
Ensures that employees who identify along the full spectrum of sexual orientations are respected and valued, and supports a culturally competent environment where all employees are treated fairly and appropriately
AIR STARS AND STRIPES
Leverages and develops the unique contributions of veterans and people with military backgrounds or interests to build a culture that fosters innovation, enhances and supports programs and activities aligned with AIR’s mission, provides employees opportunities to develop and grow, provides learning and enrichment opportunities for AIR’s workforce, and offers employees access to potential leadership opportunities
AIR VIVA
Represents and supports the development of the Hispanic, Latino and Chicano population across AIR , providing leadership and business development opportunities and a collegial space to have conversations about diversity
AIR WISE (Women in Support of Equity)
Partners across all AIR business functions to enhance opportunities for connection, networking, and collaboration to address the intersectional needs of women.
