Janet Levings

Janet U. Levings is an educational consultant working with Youth Development and Supportive Learning Environments at AIR. Currently Levings uses the Beyond the Bell Toolkit to develop and facilitate curriculum workshops for frontline staff in afterschool and expanded learning programs for the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD). She also used Beyond the Bell resources when she coached site directors for the Chicago Public Schools Community Schools Programs. 

Levings's work has included assessing the Schools Out New York City (SONYC) leadership initiative, schools' transitions to the Common Core (Hobbs, NM), and classroom competencies using CLASS observations.
