ECR Hub: Advancing the Long-Term Potential of Fundamental Research
Population: Early childhood through Adults

This five-year resource center is a partnership with the National Science Foundation to extend the reach of its existing investments and build career opportunities related to fundamental STEM education research. The STEM Education Core Research (ECR) Hub will support NSF’s ECR program, which funds curiosity-driven and use-inspired fundamental STEM education research.
Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center
The Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center (MSKTC), operated by AIR, summarizes research, identifies health information needs, and develops information resources to support programs in meeting the needs of individuals with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and burn injuries.
Career and Technical Education Research Network

The What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) is a leading federal source of evidence-based information about education programs, policies, and interventions that show promise for improving student outcomes. AIR holds the WWC Statistics, Website, and Training (SWAT) contract whose focus is on updating WWC policies and providing training and support.
Latin America and Caribbean Reads Capacity Program
Population: Early childhood/Pre-K

The United States Agency for International Development-funded Latin America and Caribbean Reads Capacity Program focuses on collecting and consolidating evidence on early grade literacy in Latin America and the Caribbean. AIR conducted a systematic review to examine what works to improve early grade reading outcomes in the region.
National Center on Intensive Intervention (NCII)
Population: Elementary (grades 1-5)

The National Center on Intensive Intervention (NCII) at AIR translates research to build capacity of state and local education agencies, universities, practitioners, and other stakeholders to support implementation of intensive intervention in reading, mathematics, and behavior for students with severe and persistent learning and/or behavioral needs.
