Lee Thompson
Lee Thompson is a senior researcher at AIR. Her primary responsibilities include leading health care research, technical assistance, and evaluation projects. Drawing on her 20 years of experience in the fields of health and aging, she has expertise conducting outreach to and engaging a variety of stakeholders, including healthcare leaders and professionals, healthcare researchers, patients and families, and state agency officials, in quality improvement initiatives. Thompson is responsible for leading technical expert panels; designing, implementing and evaluating technical assistance supports and services; developing evidence-based toolkits; and developing and disseminating communication tools. A trained qualitative researcher, Thompson has extensive experience moderating focus groups and conducting cognitive interviews.
