Mauricio Estrada

Senior Researcher

Mauricio Estrada is a Senior Researcher at AIR. He has 16 years of experience supporting education in low- and middle-income countries by providing technical assistance and capacity building on designing, implementing, analysing, and disseminating results of educational assessments.

Estrada performs psychometric and statistical analyses required for reporting and interpretation of results. He delivers capacity building on developing content and performance standards, constructing tests for formative and summative assessments, and producing score reports for decision-makers, stakeholders, donor agencies and implementing partners.

Since 2014, Estrada has either led or supported student assessment activities in Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Botswana, Colombia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Honduras, India, and Lesotho.
