Natalya Gnedko-Berry

Natalya Gnedko-Berry is a senior researcher at AIR. Since the beginning of her research career in 2006, she has led or contributed to a range of evaluations and experimental and quasi-experimental studies with the primary focus on education. Equally skilled in quantitative and qualitative methodologies, Dr. Gnedko-Berry contributes to the selection and application of both methods. An experienced project director, she serves as a primary client contact and oversees the development and delivery of work products. Dr. Gnedko-Berry manages internal project teams to ensure successful implementation of evaluation and research projects.

At AIR, Dr. Gnedko-Berry serves as a project director for the evaluations of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards’ Network to Transform Teaching, Jacksonville Public Education Fund’s Teacher Incentives and Teacher Residency Projects, and the International Network for Public Schools’ Realizing Internationals Supports for English Language Learners.  For these multiyear projects, Dr. Gnedko-Berry oversees the evaluation of implementation fidelity and key program outcomes, including teacher and student outcomes. She manages the collection and analysis of qualitative data along with the analysis of extant client and school district data. Further, she leads the dissemination of findings via reports and presentations.  

Prior to joining AIR, Dr. Gnedko-Berry served as a member of research and evaluation teams at Chicago Public Schools and Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago.
