Nathalie Cornet

Senior TA Consultant and Country Director, Mexico

Nathalie Cornet is an international development professional with over 10 years of experience in project and performance management, strategic planning, and partnership building. She is currently AIR’s Mexico Country Director and also serves as the co-project director for the Compliance in Auto Parts through Labor Law Enforcement (CALLE) project in Mexico, which seeks to strengthen government protection of workers’ rights and improve working conditions in the Mexican auto parts sector.

Cornet provides in-country leadership and oversight and is responsible for catalyzing effective partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders in Mexico. Additionally, she enhances AIR’s relationship and collaboration with in-country partners focusing on synergies and coordinated strategies with multilateral/bilateral donors and civil-society organizations involved in international development.

Previously, Cornet also worked with the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) supporting initiatives that strengthen the capacity of governments in Latin America to advance human rights and the rule of law. She also worked with American Red Cross on humanitarian and disaster risk reduction initiatives. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
