Patti Furlano
Patti Furlano is a senior technical assistance consultant at AIR. As the former director of instructional design and professional development for the Illinois Center for School Improvement at AIR (Illinois CSI at AIR), she led the training and development for 75 field staff members across the state. In this role, Furlano spearheaded the creation and implementation of the staff development structures, processes and programs for the organization including onboarding, skills needs assessment, curriculum design, presentation and delivery, as well as implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Furlano currently serves on the District and School Improvement Center at AIR leadership team charged with professional learning and developing network improvement communities.
Furlano is a training and development leader with extensive experience working with all organizational levels creating and delivering training solutions designed to support the organization’s vision, mission, and goals. She is passionate about creating a collaborative and innovative environment that supports individual and team learning. Her nearly 20 years of work as a district educational leader and with the Professional Development Alliance included designing and delivering successful programs at the local, regional, state, and national levels. Her work has always been focused on meeting the strategic needs of the organization through shared leadership, strong and effective communication, and capacity building coaching.
