Replication: The Challenge of Reproducing Research

Replication, or the ability to reproduce tests or experiments, is a fundamental aspect of the scientific method. However, recent articles have called into question the replicability of experimental research in different fields. In this video, Larry V. Hedges, AIR Institute Fellow, explores the challenges of defining and analyzing replication. To do so, he examines the statistical background around replication and the difference between exact and approximate replication to better understand this key concept in evidence-based research.
