Ryan Eisner

Senior Researcher

Ryan Eisner is a senior researcher at the AIR. He has experience with both qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation methods, and his and his areas of study span from educator quality, college and career readiness and success, mathematics education, school choice, dropout prevention, school leaders, English language learners, early childhood education, and afterschool programming.

Eisner's work includes studies that use both experimental and quasi-experimental designs, and nearly all of his work includes both qualitative and quantitative data. His responsibilities include managing and leading junior staff, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, managing client relations, and creating reporting materials that are easily understood by practitioners and policymakers. Eisner previously served as a graduate student analyst at the U.S. Government Accountability Office and as a project assistant at the University of Wisconsin Center for Financial Security. Before entering the research field, Eisner worked as a scholarship adviser for college students and as an adviser in a college access program based in Milwaukee, WI.
