Shuqiong (Linda) Lin

Researcher

Linda Lin is a researcher at AIR with experience in designing and conducting education research and evaluation studies. Dr. Lin specializes in experimental and quasi-experimental study design and quantitative methodology, with a particular interest in casual inference methods, multilevel modeling and data mining. She also has extensive experience in developing research project scopes, collecting large scale quantitative data, and managing projects with tight timelines.

Dr. Lin currently serves as the project director for an evaluation of using online student engagement tool for improving teaching practices and student learning funded by Supporting Effective Educator Development Grant. She is also the quantitative lead for multiple large-scale multisite impact evaluation studies in the STEM education field funded by the Institute of Education Sciences. 

Before joining AIR, she was a statistical consultant in Educational Research and Evaluation Lab at Texas A&M University, where she provided statistical consulting to undergraduates and graduates for their research projects, theses/dissertations, and using statistical software.
