Tandrea Hilliard-Boone
Tandrea Hilliard-Boone is a senior researcher in the Health Division at AIR. Her primary responsibilities include leading projects, tasks and business development efforts related to measurement of patient-reported outcomes and experiences; catalyzing innovation of novel renal therapies for kidney failure; effective patient and other stakeholder engagement in health care and research; and addressing social determinants of health to advance health equity.
A mixed methods researcher with more than 15 years of applied research experience, Dr. Hilliard-Boone uses her technical expertise in integrated quantitative and qualitative research study design, implementation, and evaluation. She is highly skilled in cleaning, managing, and analyzing large databases (e.g., complex survey data, electronic health records, large-scale qualitative projects); executing advanced statistical and theory-based qualitative analyses; and conducting environmental scans, in-depth case studies, and virtual or in-person stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and convenings.
Dr. Hilliard-Boone's background also includes community-based participatory research, recruitment and retention of underrepresented populations in research, and large-scale clinical trials management. She develops manuscripts, conference presentations, webinar content, and other dissemination tools for diverse audiences.
