Wendy Brors

Senior TA Consultant

Wendy Brors is a senior TA consultant in the Workforce Development program area at AIR. She brings expertise in industry sector strategies leveraging public private partnerships and human capital solutions involving work-based learning ecosystem development, apprenticeship expansion, and competency-based career pathways development. Brors is a strategic thinker, skilled at business systems design, systems change, industry engagement, strategic planning and implementation, and performance management. Current and recent clients include the U.S. Department of Labor-Employment and Training Administration and seven of their grantees: Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, and Wisconsin, as well as strategic partner CompTIA.

Prior to joining AIR, Brors served in a variety of positions: associate director of the Colorado Workforce Development Council for the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, where she bridged industry, through sector partnerships, into Colorado’s talent development network of economic development, workforce development, education and community-based organizations, covering all industries and regions; chief operating officer for the Colorado Technology Association, working in policy, economic development, and workforce development and founding the Colorado Technology Foundation to improve the talent development systems for the tech sector in Colorado; and business operations director for Marathon Oil, Sun Microsystems, and McKinsey & Company. 

In addition to a master’s degree in development economics from The American University, Brors holds a certificate in economics and French from L’Universite de Paris, La Sorbonne, France; a certificate from the Apprenticeship Institute (CEMETs) in Zurich, Switzerland; and a certificate in executive business management from the CEDIR (Colorado Executive Development in Residence) at the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business.
