CHRISTMAS BEARDS TO CHIN-SPIRE YOUR HOLIDAY LOOK

TIS THE SEASON TO BE BEARDED!

Winter brings about the beard in all of us. It’s the perfect time of year to let it all grow out. Not only does it look rugged but it also keeps the face warm in cold weather. So, come December beards are in full bloom.

Christmas is the perfect time to show off the new bearded you, and add a festive twist!

I’m sure all you modern gentlemen are well aware of the latest holiday facial hair trend- #JingleBeards. But, for those of you who are not, it’s a creative and festive way to deck out your beard with all kinds of Christmas frills.

Many of the beards get taken to the Christmas extreme, and though they’re perfect for holiday parties or Buddy the Elf, most Jingle Beards are not all that practical.

So we’ve made a list of our favorite holiday beards (crazy & not-so-crazy) to Chin-spire your look this Christmas.

THE WOODSMAN CHRISTMAS BEARD

The Woodsman is a classic Christmas Beard and easy to accomplish too. For the true mountain man, simply go out into nature and stick a bunch of leaves and berries into your beard. But, for a more simplified, still rugged look- try roughing up your woodsman beard with some beard balm and pair it with a nice flannel.

THE SWEET TOOTH BEARD

The candy cane covered beard is perfect if you’re feeling snacky but can be a bit sticky. If you want to avoid the mess try using some fresh smelling beard oil. Most beard oils have a nice clean scent, but if you want to be festive for Christmas, try adding a drop of peppermint to the oil. It keeps your beard smelling like the holidays, and keeps you ready for any unexpected mistletoe encounters.

THE WHITE CHRISTMAS BEARD

Flocking your beard white is a festive way to make it look like you’ve been romping around in the snow. But, nothing’s more sophisticated than an actual white beard (Santa Claus would be the first to support that theory). Sporting you’re natural snow-colored beard is always a smart look for the holidays.

THE PERFECTLY PRUNED BEARD

A Christmas tree on your face is a display of true holiday Spirit. But, if facial shrubbery isn’t your style, you can still keep your beard pruned to perfection. Keep your tree and your beard nice and trim for the holidays.

THE JOLLY OLD YULETIDE BEARD

Harken back to the days of Dickens with an old-timey Christmas beard. Using the help of strong beard wax you can flourish your curls and look the part as you toll the ancient yuletide carol. If you want to go for a less dramatic look, simply curl the ends of your stash, toss on a jaunty cap & spectacles, and try wearing the bow around your neck and not on your face.
