AIR Education Tech Expert Tracy Gray to Speak at Atlantic Forum

Washington, D.C. – American Institutes for Research (AIR) Managing Researcher Tracy Gray, an expert on the innovative use of technology for teaching and learning, will participate in the Technologies in Education 2014 forum on September 11, hosted by The Atlantic. Dr. Gray also leads the Center for Technology Implementation and the Center for Technology and Disability at AIR.

The forum will look at the potential of new technologies—from online courses to educational video games—to transform the way students learn and teachers teach. Speakers will describe new technological innovations, and explore how they can be used to refresh the current educational model and prepare students for the jobs of tomorrow.

The forum is 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. EDT at the Gallup Building in downtown Washington, D.C. Dr. Gray will participate in the 11:25 a.m. panel, “Most Likely to Succeed: Preparing Today’s Students for Tomorrow’s Jobs.”
